Why rhodium plating must be precisely controlled
Poorly executed rhodium plating shows immediately: uneven deposit, missed areas, thickness variation creating differences in tone. Conversely, too thick a deposit on functional contact areas can affect the dimensions of the piece. Our approach systematically includes a pre-treatment analysis: surface condition, sensitive areas to mask, targeted deposit thickness according to end use. This diagnosis guarantees a precise, reproducible result from one batch to the next.
